IN THE FANTASTIC DAY OF LORENZO LANZI SATISFACTION FOR NORINO BRIGNOLA TOO

(Eurospeedway Lausitz 2005, September 10)

The second and final qualifying day at EuroSpeedway Lausitz gave a great
delight, also if not in a direct way, to Scuderia SC Caracchi crew, when Lorenzo
Lanzi clinched the pole position on a factory Xerox Ducati, a result which makes
full of happiness tears the eyes of all the people who was close to Lorenzo
until this moment of the season.

But Norino Brignola too, his substitute onto the Scuderia SC Caracchi Ducati
999RS, could be quite satisfied, also in thousends of difficulties due a quicken
debut.

"I was waiting for a better result." -  said at the end of the day Norino
Brignola. "Unfortunately this morning's crash prevent me from upgrading my
position. However I got my lap time using race tyres, with soft tyre I haven't
at the moment a good feeling and I'm not able to use them; you have to remember
that in Italian Championship I'm racing with different brand tyres. I could need
a couple of practice sessions more to grow up, but of course it wasn't possible.
I'm quite satisfied however, my pace is good for the race and I'm confident in a
positive race tomorrow. The bike is very fast, now we'll see together the team,
that helped me in a fantastic way, which are the intervent to do for tomorrow."
